About this tour

In the remote Ngari region of Tibet stands Mount Kailash—a sacred peak that is not the world’s tallest, yet revered as the “Center of the Universe” by countless religions. It is the Sumeru Mountain of Tibetan Buddhism, the divine abode of Shiva in Hinduism, the enlightenment site of Jainism’s patriarchs, and the birthplace of Bon. For thousands of years, innumerable pilgrims have measured its circumference with their feet and touched its soil with their bodies, all in pursuit of inner peace and the answers to life.
